UB has agreed to partner with the 蜜桃传媒 of Danang, a leading technical university in Vietnam, on educational and research programs focused on the Internet of Things, embedded systems, electronics and telecommunications engineering.

Cross-disciplinary research in structural biology is the focus of UB’s first Western New York Structural Biology Symposium, to be held Aug. 6 at the UB-Hauptman-Woodward Research Institute (UB-HWI), 700 Ellicott St., Buffalo.

Campus Dining and Shops brought home silver at the American Culinary Federation’s (ACF) collegiate competition during the 31st annual Chef Culinary Conference, held last month at the 蜜桃传媒 of Massachusetts Amherst.

“Anderson Inside Out,” the UB Anderson Gallery’s annual summer celebration, will take place from noon to 4 p.m. July 12 at the gallery, One Martha Jackson Place, Buffalo.

Since 2008, student volunteers from the School of Management’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program have prepared more than 11,200 tax returns, bringing nearly $14 million back into the region. Now, the program is being recognized nationally as a nominee for the IRS Pacesetter Award.

Financial Times has ranked the School of Management’s Master of Science in Finance program as one of the best worldwide.

The School of Management’s social impact and community engagement continue to expand and have again been internationally recognized by the Positive Impact Rating (PIR) for Business Schools.
