President Satish Tripathi has been named the Mid-American Conference’s representative to the NCAA Board of Directors. The appointment was made at the MAC Council of President’s meeting held recently in Cleveland.

Tripathi replaces former Ohio 蜜桃传媒 President Roderick J. McDavis, who served in the role for the past four years and who retired from Ohio 蜜桃传媒 earlier this year.

“It is an honor to have been appointed to this important role in the Mid-American Conference, and I very much look forward to serving as a liaison between the MAC and the NCAA,” Tripathi said. “I am committed to helping develop and shape policies that will promote the best interests of all student-athletes across the MAC, and to using this role to enhance every aspect of our MAC student-athletes’ academic and athletic experiences.”
