UUP to hold ‘Roadshow’

Food, fun and facts will be on tap when the Buffalo Center Chapter of United ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Professions sponsors an informational “Roadshow” on July 16.

The event will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in Coventry Circle on the North Campus. In case of rain, the Roadshow will move to the Center for the Arts Atrium.

Attendees can enjoy a free lunch while visiting seven “stations” to meet UUP Buffalo Center representatives and learn about the various responsibilities of the union, which represents UB faculty and professional staff.

They include:

  • Membership.
  • Professional concerns and grievances.
  • Academic concerns and grievances.
  • Delegate Assembly and officers.
  • Adjunct concerns and issues.
  • Contract update, concerns and issues.
  • Political outreach and VOTE Cope
