The Global Virus Network (GVN) is a coalition of the world’s leading medical research centers working to prevent death from viral disease. It represents more than 25 countries and includes experts in every class of virus-causing disease in humans.
In March 2015 the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ was added as a center of excellence, primarily because of its distinguished HIV and HCV Clinical Pharmacology Laboratory. The GVN recently admitted the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ of the West Indies to its network, to focus on Chikungunya and Zika viruses.
