Our Beginnings
The CIBR is the result of a groundswell of interest in the study of ingestive behavior at UB.
The ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ community was organized in 2015 with the help of two new faculty members, and (now Director and Associate Director of the CIBR). Drs. Torregrossa and Anzman-Frasca spearheaded annual research retreats for members of UBIB, and these highly successful meetings have helped bring together almost fifty members of the UB community in more than a dozen laboratories. The CIBR was formed, with as the original director, to provide an administrative hub to support the ongoing activities of the UBIB community.
