Faculty and staff should be mindful of potential risks in a workplace and take appropriate action to protect your personal health. UB Environment, Health & Safety can provide guidance to protect UB workers from adverse health effects due to these, and other, environmental causes.

    Cleaning and disinfecting of most public spaces at UB is the responsibility of ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ Facilities’ custodial team. This team works hard to routinely clean and disinfect all UB public spaces in accordance with CDC and Department of Health guidelines.

  • Handwashing

    The university provides and maintains hand hygiene stations campus-wide, including handwashing areas with soap, running warm water, and disposable paper towels or air dryers, as well as an alcohol-based hand sanitizer containing 60% or more alcohol for public areas where handwashing is not feasible.
