Hepatitis C is a silent epidemic in the U.S. -- one small clinic is changing that

 reported on La Bodega, the hepatitis C clinic at Erie County Medical Center founded and run by Anthony Martinez. The story reports that the clinic, which works hard to fight the stigma around the disease often associated with needle-sharing, has cured 98% of its 7,000 patients of hepatitis C. Describing La Bodega, Martinez says “One of our mottos is ‘come one come all’. It’s a very safe, stigma free space. You know, I think people feel that when they come here.”
