The 2000 presidential campaign will be the focus of a Senior Alumni Luncheon Program at noon on Sept. 20 in the Center for Tomorrow on the North Campus.

The existence of Afro-Germans is unknown to most Americans, although many of the 500,000 Afro-Germans in Germany today are of American G.I. parentage and distinguished African Americans like educator and writer W.E.B. Eighty years ago, a young collegian from Indiana was settling back into campus life after spending the summer as an Olympic athlete and competitor in post-Olympic events overseas.
