Cox Named Associate Dean At UB Law School

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Jack D. Cox, Jr., former acting assistant dean at the ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ of Dayton School of Law, has been named associate dean and director of admissions and financial aid at the UB Law School.

In his new position, Cox will coordinate student-recruitment programs and law-school admissions and financial-aid policies.

He is secretary-treasurer of the National Network of Law School Officers and a member of the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals and the National Association of Financial Aid Administrators.

Cox earned a bachelor's degree from Waynesburg College, a master's degree from Pennsylvania State ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and a Certificate of Capital Advancement and Graduate Study in Higher Education Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ (VPI).

He has worked at VPI, Slippery Rock ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and Bethany College.

Cox lives in Williamsville.
