The Academic Recovery Agreement outlines strategies, resources and timely responsibilities that help EPAC students achieve academic good standing.
The following requirements are necessary for students to follow in order to get back on track with their academic progress at UB.
While the following practices are helpful for all UB students, the Academic Recovery Agreement is mandatory for EPAC students on academic warning or probation with UB (see the page for more information.)
Appointment No. 1: Schedule your first of three advising meetings with your EPAC advisor no later than Monday, Aug. 25, 2025. In this meeting, you and your advisor will review your personalized agreement for success.
Appointment No. 2: Schedule your second of three advising meetings with your EPAC advisor no later than Friday, Oct. 10, 2025. In this meeting, you and your advisor will review your mid-semester grades.
Appointment No. 3: Schedule your final advising meeting with your EPAC advisor no later than Friday, Nov. 10, 2025. In this meeting, you and your advisor will review your academic progress.
Please download and complete this mid-semester grades log worksheet (Microsoft Excel spreadsheet). Once you complete the log worksheet, send a copy to your EPAC advisor and bring it to your second advising appointment.
Below is a list of common areas students wish to improve. You will need to select three of the areas to focus on over the course of this semester. If there is an area of focus that is not on the list, you will be able to enter it on your Academic Recovery Agreement.

It is important to gain acceptance to a major by 60 credits completed to maintain academic progress, financial aid eligibility and to finish your degree in four years.
